Our Mission
Is To decrease the current amount of death and destruction that is now currently being caused by way of criminal actions among At-Risk and Adolescent Youth who reside here within the City of Columbus, Ohio.
Those criminal actions being, but not limited to:
Drug sales, Drug use, Car Thefts, Domestic Violence, Gang Violence, Gun Violence, and Murder.
The I Want 2 Work! Program Inc.
The I Want 2 Work! Program Inc. is a non-profit organization that was created to help alter crime and prevent violence among At-Risk and Adolescent Youths in Columbus, Ohio who are between the ages of (12-16).
This Organizations main objective is to provide children from economically challenged areas of the city with the opportunity to expand their horizons, while also learning valuable life skills, and receiving job training.
The Daily obstacles of economically challenged environments?
TRUTHS, FACTS, And REALITY
Children have no control over their circumstances and of course cannot take themselves out of high-risk environments. They cannot control how their parents act or treat them or where they choose to live. Therefore, they cannot control what they witness with relation to crime or domestic abuse, violence, or substance use. Sadly, children may not feel safe in their environments, neighborhoods, or with their own families. They may feel peer pressure to participate in substance abuse and/or crimes themselves. Of course, since they have never lived or been in secure, safe environments, then they come to believe that these situations are the normal way of life for everyone. They never know when violence will affect their own family or take the life of a friend or family member. “They may join gangs or commit crimes in order to fit in, prevent others from viewing them as weak, or to counteract feelings of powerlessness, thus perpetuating the cycle of violence and increasing their risk of incarceration.
Through the use of job training, life skills, and community service work, The I Want 2 Work! Program intends to alter Criminal Thinking, and the use of Criminal Violence among Adolescent & At-risk youth between the ages of 12-15 who are currently living within economically challenged areas of the city of Columbus, Ohio.

Each At-Risk Youth who registers and participates in any of the I Want 2 Work! Program Inc's programs will be given approximately one $25 Amazon or Walmart gift card for every hour of Program Service they complete through the program.

Each Program Mentor who registers and participtes with the organization shall have the opportunity to receive a total of seventy-two (72) $25 Walmart or Amazon gift cards, and twenty-four (24) $50 gas cards over the duration of the summer valued at three thousand dollars ($3,000).
Local Residents who are in need of Food Assistance & Local Neighborhoods in need of trash removal
Each of the 100 qualifying households that are chosen for the Summer Program shall receive approximately ninety-six (96) Dinner & Breakfast meals over the course of the summer valued at one thousand four hundred and forty dollars ($1,440)
Each neighborhood that is chosen to be cleaned though the Trash Pickup Program will be outfitted with up to ten 40 gallon Trash Cans and five park benches.
Program Participants and Program Mentors will utilize each trash pickup station location as a homebase to collect and dispose of trash and litter waste accumulated while on patrol.
Each team group will revisit each assigned location until the location that is in question is deemed fit and unnecessary for our services.
Each trash pickup station will give The I Want 2 Work Program Inc. the ability to lmplement community service through trash pickup and neighborhood waste Manage.
Local Restaurant Owners, Local Food Vendors , and Locally operated Business establishments
On each of the 24 (summer program) operating days, one local restaurant or local food vendor will be chosen to prepare dinner meals for that days dinner drop-offs.
On each operating summer program day, four hundred (400) Dinner meals will be purchased by the program and then delivered to each pre-qualified household that is registered with the program.
Approximately three thousand dollars ($3,000) in meals will be purchased from each chosen local restaurant or local food vendor. 24 local restaurants or local food vendors will be chosen over the course of the summer valued at three thousand dollars ($3,000) each purchase.
Community Service, Job Training, & Life Skills.
This Organization will give it's program participants the opportunity to spend quality time outside of their day to day nonproductive environments while also learning meaningful life skills.
This Organization will give it's program participants the opportunity to gain new and alternative perspectives on how they as individuals can conduct themselves accurately as citizens within the Local community.
Program mentors that are associated with this organization will be local residents only. Each Program Mentor must pass a background check that qualifies them to be safe around children, and they must also own a insured reliable vehicle in order to qualify as a Program Mentor.
Local food vendors and local restaurants who connect with and collaborate with this organization will benefit from this program directly by way of products purchased from there establishments by this organization, and products purchases from their establishments that will be distributed among local residents who are in need.
This collaboration will also give local food vendors and local restaurants a direct way to connect with and help the local community through the use of a service that they are already currently providing.

This Organization will provide Local At-risk Youth & Local Residents with the opportunity to complete community service work while also providing a means to financial support for themselves.
This organization will give children in Columbus, Ohio, who were born into, or who are being raised in economically challenged areas of city the opportunity to go beyond the confinement of their normal day to day environments while also learning life skills, and job training.
This organization will also give Local operating Business and locally owned Food Vendors/Restaurant Owners the opportunity to generate revenue for their businesses and a means for them to also provide assistance to those in the Community who are in need.
